Hi, I’m Dave, founder of Denver Mortgage Lounge, based here in Cherry Creek, Denver. My story began in Buffalo, NY, where I grew up with a strong sense of community and the value of hard work – qualities that still shape my approach to life and business. After beginning my career in finance, I was drawn to the mortgage industry as a way to make a meaningful impact, helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership and build long-term financial security.

My journey eventually brought me to Denver, where I met my wife, April, and we built a family that’s central to everything I do. One of the most transformative experiences of our lives was adopting our son, Tam, from Ethiopia. Watching Tam grow and develop his own ambitions has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Now a soon-to-be graduate from Metro State University, Tam has also interned with me at Denver Mortgage Lounge, learning the ins and outs of the business while bringing his unique perspective and passion to our team. I couldn’t be prouder to watch him grow, both personally and professionally, and to see how he’s already making a positive impact in his own way.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about health and fitness, aiming to maintain an active lifestyle that keeps me energized and focused. Whether it’s sticking to a mostly carnivore diet, getting in a good workout, or enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors, I believe that balance is key to a fulfilling life.

For me, a home is more than a financial asset; it’s the foundation of family, security, and legacy.
